The Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad AlJalajel took part in a high-level roundtable at the Australian Saudi Business Forum in Sydney, bringing together key figures from the health and innovation sectors.
The event saw the signing of several memoranda of understanding between the Health Holding Company and the National Unified Procurement Company (NUPCO) with leading Australian firms specializing in medical diagnostics and clinical research.
Al-Jalajel highlighted that the agreements mark a significant step in expanding healthcare collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Australia. He noted that the partnerships will drive the development of integrated healthcare solutions and clinical research in areas such as genomics and biotechnology, reinforcing the Kingdom’s role as a regional hub for advanced medical research in line with Vision 2030’s Health Transformation Program.
The forum was part of the Minister’s official tour of Australia, which included visits to Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney, aimed at boosting health partnerships and fostering investments in medical innovation and scientific research.
