The Ministry of Health has reported a 90% decrease in heat exhaustion cases among pilgrims during the Hajj season of 1446 AH compared to the previous year. This significant decline comes as part of the healthcare system's collaborative efforts with government entities to mitigate health risks.
The achievement aligns with the objectives of the “Health Sector Transformation Program" and the “Pilgrim Experience Program," both of which are part of Saudi Vision 2030. These initiatives aim to ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims during Hajj.
The Ministry attributed the decline to enhanced preventive measures, intensified health awareness campaigns, and coordinated efforts between the healthcare sector and other government bodies. These measures contributed to safeguarding pilgrims' health and enabling them to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
