The Ministry of Health has commenced its field visits as part of the 2025 World Health Survey, utilizing methodologies and questionnaires based on the World Health Survey Plus (WHS+).
This initiative aims to enhance healthcare services and monitor public health patterns and health-related behaviors within the community, reflecting the Kingdom's progress toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives to improve quality of life.
The Ministry clarified that the survey targets a representative sample of both citizens and residents across various regions of the Kingdom. It includes individual and household questionnaires covering demographic information, health status, risk factors, and health system data. The survey encompasses over 14,000 households and individuals across the 13 administrative regions through the health clusters, aiming to strengthen the national health information system and identify key priorities in the healthcare sector.
The health survey also seeks to provide an accurate database on the population's health status, measure progress on Sustainable Development Goal indicators, support early detection of chronic diseases, promote health-conscious behaviors, and guide the development of healthcare services in line with community needs.
The Ministry of Health has called on all selected individuals and households to actively participate and cooperate in the health survey.
