Saudi Minister of Health H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel has met with Hao Wu, Chairman of Mindray, a leading medical technology company, in Shenzhen, China, to explore prospects for cooperation in advancing healthcare services in the Kingdom.
During the visit, the health minister discussed opportunities for cooperation in the healthcare sector, focusing on key areas such as localizing and transferring technology and knowledge, building resilient supply chains, and creating local job opportunities to support the national economy.
Moreover, AlJalajel attended the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Mindray and the Saudi National Unified Procurement Company (NUPCO) to strengthen bilateral partnerships in research, development, and medical innovation.
At the conclusion of the visit, the minister emphasized the importance of international cooperation and welcomed the efforts of national institutions to collaborate with their global counterparts.
He also noted that adopting innovative solutions can ensure the provision of the best healthcare services for society.
The minister was accompanied by a delegation that included Saudi business leaders and officials from the Ministry of Health and the healthcare sector.
