​​Minister Of Health Inspects and Inaugurates Several Health Projects in Qassim

The Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdulrahman AlJalajel, visited the Qassim region to inspect a number of health projects to enhance the quality, efficiency and comprehensiveness of health services provided there, in line with the objectives of the health sector transformation program and the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to build a "vibrant and healthy society".

The Minister visit witnessed the inauguration of 54 health projects worth more than 448 million riyals. These projects include the Qassim Health Cluster, the Dental Center in Unaizah, and a number of community participation projects with a total value of nearly 102 million riyals, including Prince Faisal Bin Mishaal Fertility Center in Buraydah, Abdulla Al-Othaim Diabetes Treatment Center at Al-Rass General Hospital, Al-Rajhi Bank Cardiac Catheterization Center and other specialized centers.
During the visit, the Minister of Health met with a number of citizens to listen to their opinions and meet their needs and aspirations regarding health services, in line with the directives of the wise leadership to address the needs of citizens and provide the best health services to beneficiaries in all regions of the Kingdom.
The visit also included inspection tours on several health facilities in the region. The Minister began his tour with a visit to Buraidah Central Hospital, where he was briefed on the various departments and services provided. The tour also included a visit to the North Buraidah Hospital project, which is still under construction, where the project developments were reviewed, and future work plans were discussed to ensure its completion according to the highest standards.
The inspection tours also included a visit to the Red Crescent Center and a review of the performance and average response time achieved in the region, a group of developed primary care centers, which were equipped with the latest technologies and medical equipment, and several private sector projects in the region. The Minister met with a number of investors to review their investment projects in an effort to support and enhance investment in the health sector in the region.
It is worth noting that this comes as a continuation of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to achieve a qualitative transformation in the health sector, in a way that supports the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program by enhancing the quality and efficiency of health services and facilitating access to them.
