Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez yesterday received Saudi Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel and his accompanying delegation in Havana as part of their official visit to Cuba.The two sides discussed relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation, particularly in the health sector. They also talked about increasing both bilateral and multilateral health coordination to benefit the interests of their nations and peoples.Minister Al-Jalajel expressed his appreciation for the attention given to the health sector in Cuba and emphasized the importance of supporting shared interests to achieve sustainable development, prosperity, and well-being for both countries and their citizens.Cuban Minister of Public Health Dr. José Ángel Portal Miranda, Assistant Deputy Minister of Health for International Cooperation, Rakan bin Khalid bin Dahish, and Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Republic of Cuba, Mohammed bin Misfer Al-Nafie, attended the meeting.
