The Global Health Exhibition Concludes Sessions with 138 Agreements and Investments of SR. 13.3 Billion

The Global Health Exhibition which is organized by the Ministry of Health (MOH) over three days concluded its sessions yesterday, with the signing of 138 agreements, memorandums of understanding and deals, with a total investment exceeding SR. 13.3 billion, and in the presence of more than 111 thousand visitors and interested local and international stakeholders.
The exhibition, which was held under the theme “Invest in Health,” witnessed the holding of a ministerial session, in which ministers and decision-makers discussed the investment file in the kingdom’s health sector. It also witnessed the holding of a meeting between His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel, and the owners of hospitals and small facilities, in which HE invited them to take advantage of this exhibition to enhance investment opportunities in the fields of technology, research, innovation, and digital health solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of services, medical education, and training.
The 6th Edition of this exhibition enabled health practitioners to attend eight scientific programs, which provided health practitioners with 30 credit hours of continuing medical education (CME), presented by more than a hundred speakers in more than 30 dialogue sessions in eight programs, which are: Leaders Forum program, Radiology Future Program, Nursing Program, Medical Laboratory Future Program, Joint Commission International (JCI) Hospital Accreditation Program, Healthcare Quality Program, Preventive Health Program, Health Financing and Revenue Cycle Management Workshop.
The sessions and events of the Global Health Exhibition focused on the importance of raising the quality of life in the health sector to attract local and global investments and achieve a prosperous economy and integrated and innovative health care. The exhibition aimed to encourage investment in the healthcare sector, increase its growth opportunities, strengthen the Kingdom’s leadership in this sector, and introduce the dimensions of progress witnessed by the health system and its digital transformations and medical technologies.
The exhibition hosted more than 300 exhibiting companies, including local, regional and international companies from 29 countries, as part of an exhibition containing the latest healthcare innovations and technologies in multiple qualitative fields in digital health, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and the latest research and knowledge.
The exhibition also included various areas in multiple fields, such as the investment space that highlights the latest government initiatives and developments that shape the healthcare sector in the Kingdom, with a track dedicated to health tourism, and a workshop on the privatization program in the presence of international speakers, in addition to a space for medical laboratories that embraces the latest innovations and technologies in the medical laboratory industry, and a third space for emerging companies that include the most prominent innovations leading to enhanced cooperation that contributes to changing the healthcare industry, and a fourth space for interactive platforms with the aim of meeting, socializing and enabling participants to build new communication links.
At the Global Health Exhibition, the 5th zone for innovation witnessed a large turnout of visitors. It is a zone that discusses modern technology, which included a corner for Seha Virtual Hospital and the technologies used in its specializations, such as metaverse technologies and the artificial intelligence laboratory, in addition to a traditional-style Saudi majlis equipped with medical technologies that use intelligence. The zone also included a competition for startups, in which 20 applicants from startups from all over the world competed. Saudi and international speakers also presented a scientific and medical program on the stage of the Innovation space, in conjunction with a gaming Hackathon held in cooperation with the healthcare sector transformation program; One of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
It is noteworthy that the Global Health Exhibition, in its sixth edition, has witnessed qualitative development and expansion at the global level, as it represents the most prominent exhibition in the Healthcare field, and attracts many local, regional and international companies to showcase the latest innovations and technologies in the medical and healthcare fields, at ROSHN Exhibition and Conference Front, and includes new innovative features, and many specialized conferences and workshops to ensure a valuable and distinctive experience for its visitors.
