MOH Transfers Groups of Pilgrims who are Hospitalized in Medina to the Holy Sites
Today, at dawn, the "MOH" convoy, carrying pilgrims of various nationalities, representing patients hospitalized in Madinah, set off to deliver them to the holy sites, and put them to sleep in Jabal Al-Rahma Hospital in Arafat's Mashaar, to enable them complete their treatment plan, and perform the rituals of Hajj for this year 1444H.

MOH stated that the convoy includes an integrated fleet consisting of (16) ambulances, equipped with all integrated medical equipment, with a specialized medical team consisting of 83 specialized practitioners (doctors, nurses and paramedics), in addition to 4 ambulances stationed on Al-Hijrah road between Medina and Makkah, and two ambulances for intensive care, in addition to 5 supportive ambulance units, an integrated oxygen cabin, a mobile first aid workshop, and a bus to transport patients' companions.
Ministry of Health works every year to transfer pilgrims who are hospitalized in Medina to the holy sites, so that they can complete the rituals of their Hajj in health and peace, and complete the stages of their treatment in the hospitals of the holy sites, after they are provided with all necessary medical services in Medina hospitals.
A number of sick pilgrims and their companions expressed their thanks and appreciation during the setting off process to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince - may Allah protect them - for facilitating all means of performing the Hajj, and the level of health care provided to them in Medina from the date of their arrival until the time of their departure to Makkah to perform Hajj.
