Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajil, and in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Eng. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, the Ministry of Health organized yesterday evening, Wednesday, a celebration on International Blood Donor Day under the slogan: (Donate blood, donate plasma, share life, share a lot), at the Conference Hall, Marriott Hotel, Olaya.
MOH confirmed that the aim of the celebration is to motivate the community to take the initiative to donate voluntarily, which contributes to great humanitarian services for those in need of blood, as several charities that serve the blood banking sector participated in this ceremony.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, agreements were signed between the “Ministry of Health” and "Almari” and “Siemens Healthineers” companies to provide support for blood banks and donation campaigns. After that, His Excellency honored the people who donated the most and honored several support associations and sponsors.
