Governor of Riyadh Inaugurates Health and Emergency Projects Funded by Al-Shakreen Endowment.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, inaugurated today, Sunday, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajil, and the Counsellor of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Qasim, health and emergency projects in Riyadh, funded by Al-Shakreen Endowment, Malahi bin Salama bin Saedan, and his brothers to serve the community at a total cost of more than 40 million Riyals through the Endowment Fund, in the Emirate Diwan in Qasr al-Hukam District in Riyadh. These projects include 6 health projects and two initiatives, an electronic link training agreement, whereby 3 emergency centers were inaugurated along Riyadh-Al-Rain-Bisha Road. Those centers are: the Red Crescent Center in Sanad, the Red Crescent Center in Al-Raqimiya, and the Red Crescent Center in Asila, which covers an area of 450 km west of Riyadh, in addition to equipping the emergency center in Al-Rain General Hospital with a bed capacity of 22 beds, and serving 54,000 patients annually, as well as inaugurating the kidney center in the hospital to serve 1,680 dialysis sessions annually, and rehabilitating and equipping the doctors and nurses building in the hospital with 30 furnished rooms, besides the technical link between five hospitals, Al-Rain, Al-Quway’iyah, Al-Muzahimiyah, Al-Ruwaidah, and Al-Khaira, with the aim of unifying the medical file of the reviewers. His Highness, the Governor of Riyadh, also witnessed the signing of a community partnership agreement, as it was signed by the representative of the first Riyadh Health Cluster, CEO, Dr. Saleh Al-Tamimi, and by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Al-Shakreen Endowment, Sheikh Malahi bin Salama bin Saedan, and the President of the Saudi Red Crescent, Dr. Jalal. Owaisi. The agreement, which aims to train 408 first aid volunteers, comes within the framework of enhancing the involvement of community components in health development, in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and enabling them to provide support and the participation of the government sector, according to the actual needs of citizens, with quality and efficiency compatible with the services provided by Ministry of Health.
