His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajil, inspected this morning, Tuesday, the Maternity and Children Specialist Hospital in North Jeddah, accompanied by the Director of Jeddah Health, Dr. Mishaal Al-Sayali, and a number of health leaders in Jeddah.
His Excellency began his inspection tour by visiting the emergency department, where he checked the services and equipment in the department. He then moved to the pharmacy department and then the outpatient clinics. During the tour, His Excellency was briefed on the various departments of the hospital, starting from the admissions departments, along with the supportive medical services department, patients’ affairs, and several administrative departments. He also listened to the latest developments in the hospital’s work progress and was assured of the integration of preparations for this new project and its readiness to serve the people of Jeddah Governorate during the coming weeks.
On the other hand, Minister Al-Jalajel visited Jeddah's private hospitals today, which included Jeddah Park Health Hospital in Central Jeddah, as well as Andalusia Hospital. On the other hand, His Excellency was briefed on the quality and safety standards of the two hospitals and their policies that would focus on improving the health service and reaching beneficiary satisfaction.
