Saving Lives in Ada’a Health Award

Based on the goal of Ada’a Health Award, which promotes leadership in empowerment, supports capabilities, promotes a culture of performance measurement, and supports decision-making based on information, for a health sector that cares about the beneficiary, this award, in its ceremony this evening, shed light on the aspect of saving lives, and the effort that workers in this sector convey from the heroes of the Red Crescent, as the award honored the best paramedics in response time and quality for the track of strokes and the best hospital to receive strokes, which shortens the time without going through Emergency departments to directly conduct the operation.
It also honored the best paramedics in the track of heart attacks and the best hospital and laboratory in the same track, which diagnoses the case on site and during transportation, to direct it to the catheterization procedure regarding these invaluable efforts to save lives, harness all capabilities, and race every day against time to save a father’s live to his children and a son to his parents.
It is worth noting that some emergency teams rescued patients with heart attacks within 16 minutes of the patient being in his location, then planning, communicating with the doctor, and arriving at the catheterization lab.
One of the winning hospitals saved 268 cases of stroke through the fast track, enabling paramedics and medical personnel to provide rapid rescue.
