According to Jeddah Health Affairs, 13,105 surgeries were conducted in its hospitals during the first quarter of this year. They included most medical specialties, and varied between major, minor, and emergency operations, adding that the number of surgical interventions reached 1,715 cardiac catheterizations during the same period.
