The First International Medical Rehabilitation Conference, organized by Najran Health Affairs, has kicked off today in the presence of the Assistant Deputy Minister of Health for Hospitals Affairs, Dr. Faisal Al-Dahmashi.
Director-General of Najran Health Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim bin Hamim said that such conferences contribute to improving health and therapeutic services, utilizing technical and clinical experiences between the kingdom’s regions, enhancing awareness of the importance of such events at the local and international levels, highlighting the scientific challenges and solutions adopted in the different aspects of medical rehabilitation. In addition, university students can participate in scientific workshops.
It is to be noted that 30 speakers from inside and outside the Kingdom have provided 8 programs and 4 workshops in the field of medical rehabilitation. The events are accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) with 27 Continuing Medical Education hours (CME), benefiting medical rehabilitation staff specializing in (physical medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, artificial limbs). The conference is accompanied by a number of workshops, which feature the most advanced medical rehabilitation equipment, in addition to physical and occupational therapy clinics in the region's hospitals.
