The surgery departments of Jazan’s hospitals, over the last months of January and February, have performed 5,740 surgeries, including the one-day surgeries, according to Jazan Health Affairs. It added that 1,124 surgeries were performed by King Fahad Central Hospital, 775 by Prince Muhammed bin Nasser Hospital, 947 by Sabya General Hospital, 428 by Samtah Hospital, 466 by Abu Arish General Hospital, as well as 2,000 surgeries performed at other hospitals across the region.
