The Maternity and Children Hospital-Al-Ahsa, over the past year (2021), has reduced the waiting lists for women’s surgeries from 126 to 37 surgeries and for pediatric surgeries from 166 to 63 surgeries. Also, the bed occupancy rate of routine operating rooms has increased from 43% to 83%; thus physicians could have performed a number of qualitative surgeries.
