The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of taking the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as the only way to confronting mutants and raising the level of immunity after the first dose. It is important to achieve herd immunity.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 68 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 546,479 confirmed cases, including 2,373 active cases and 361 critical cases.
In addition, 77 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 535,450 recoveries. Also, 5 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,656, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
