Under the patronage of H. E. the Health Minister, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the International Conference on Disaster Medicine will be held on October 13th-14th, 2021, under the theme «Building Back Better». The virtual conference is organized by MOH, represented by the Emergency, Disasters, and Ambulatory Transportation General Department in collaboration with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, General Directorate of Civil Defense, and General Secretariat of Risk Council.
The conference, which will be attended by a number of experts and specialists from inside and outside the Kingdom, aims to establish a platform to exchange knowledge and experience in all topics related to disaster medicine, to foster innovation, insights, and research and collaboration in this field. The conference will also discuss a number of topics including disaster risk reduction, community, response, recovery, business operational flexibility, Coronavirus pandemic, as well as holding five workshops related to disaster medicine and crisis management.
