The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of taking the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as the only way to confronting mutants and raising the level of immunity after the first dose. It is important to achieve herd immunity.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 103 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 545,727 confirmed cases, including 2,289 active cases and 565 critical cases.
In addition, 195 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 534,834 recoveries. Also, 6 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,604, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
