The Ministry of Health (MOH) said that it is safe and effective to mix COVID-19 vaccines approved in the Kingdom, leading to greater immune response and contributes to protecting against complications of the virus. Starting in 1990, the mechanism of switching between vaccines has been enhanced with various technologies, it added.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 177 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 544,811 confirmed cases, including 2,821 active cases and 824 critical cases.
In addition, 279 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 533,430 recoveries. Also, 8 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,560, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
