The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that COVID-19 variants are rapidly spreading, highlighting the importance of getting fully vaccinated to control these variants. Also, MOH has called all people to adhere to precautionary measures, highlighting that appointments for getting the vaccine can be scheduled via «Sehhaty» or «Tawakkalna» Apps.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 569 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 539,698 confirmed cases, including 6,502 active cases and 1,295 critical cases.
In addition, 704 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 524,765 recoveries. Also, 12 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,431, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
