MOH Records 681 COVID-19 New Cases, Urges Students to Get Fully Vaccinated

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that, over the past few days, the percentage of those male and female students (aged 12-18 years old), who took the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine increased by more than 80%, highlighting that most of them booked appointments to take the second dose. Hence, MOH has called on all students to quickly take the vaccine for their protection and for their safe return to school, Allah Willing.


According to MOH's latest statistics, 681 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 537,374 confirmed cases, including 8,628 active cases and 1,367 critical cases.
 
In addition, 1,447 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 520,358 recoveries. Also, 10 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,388, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. 
 
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
