The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that COVID-19 vaccines are effective against new mutations, highlighting that immunity starts to develop after receiving the first dose, while the second dose activates it. Hence, MOH has called on everyone to take the initiative to register in «Sehhaty» App. to obtain the vaccine for the health and safety of all society members.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,379 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 520,774 confirmed cases, including 11,136 active cases and 1,419 critical cases.
In addition, 1,021 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 501,449 recoveries. Also, 10 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,189, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
