The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that COVID-19 vaccine's second dose boosts body immunity and protects it against mutations, Allah willing, highlighting that the second dose should be taken after 42 days, and the first dose does not lose its effect if the period increases.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,133 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 498,906 confirmed cases, including 11,250 active cases and 1,378 critical cases.
In addition, 1,582 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 479,709 recoveries. Also, 14 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,947, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
