JAM Health Professions Event Concluded at Princess Nourah University

The ‘JAM Health Professions’ event was concluded today, Sunday, in the presence of HE, the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, and HE the President of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Dr. Enas bint Suleiman Al-Issa. The event was organized by MOH's Innovation Center, in cooperation with the Deanship of Female Student Affairs at Princess Nourah University. It was held at the university’s headquarters for two days and was attended by students of the university’s health colleges.


The activities of the event aim to apply methodologies of creativity in finding innovative solutions. The first three winners were honored, in the specializations of nursing, health education, primary year, pharmacy, dentistry, physicians and health practitioners.

Noteworthy, MOH has previously signed a joint cooperation agreement with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University to implement a group of projects that promote a culture of creativity and innovation in the field of health care in the Kingdom. The agreement focused on contributing to designing behavioral economics initiatives by preparing a study on the initiative of walking as a sport, as well as activating labs to enable innovators to create prototypes of their projects, in addition to planning and implementing creative events that spread creativity.

This agreement reflects the keenness of MOH and Princess Nourah University to hold strategic partnerships. It is also an embodiment of the integration of efforts of various government agencies and is part of the joint work to expand fields of creative and innovative support in the health care field.
