The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that severe and critical complications of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) will be prevented, Allah Willing, by taking COVID-19 vaccines, highlighting that the vaccines are safe and highly effective.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,247 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 461,242 confirmed cases, including 9,929 active cases and 1,565 critical cases.
In addition, 1,028 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 443,810 recoveries. Also, 15 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,503, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 92,124 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.
