MOH Records 1,261 COVID-19 New Cases, Reiterates Call for Adherence to Precautions

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of adherence to precautionary measures, including wearing face-masks, avoiding shaking hands, and maintaining physical distancing, especially during family gatherings and social events; to stop the spread of the virus for maintaining the health and safety of all members of society. ‏ ​

According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,261 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported over the past 24 hours in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 459,968 confirmed cases, including 9,698 active cases and 1,580 critical cases.

In addition, 922 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 442,782 recoveries. Also, 17 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,488, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. 

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
