According to Jazan Health Affairs, over the period from January to May, the Cardiac Center of Prince Mohammed bin Nasser Hospital has performed 68 open-heart surgeries. The surgeries included 32 coronary bypass surgeries, 21 heart valve repair, and replacement surgeries, one congenital defect surgery, as well as 9 other surgeries.
It added that the center serves 63 adult patients and 5 pediatric patients.
