MOH Records 1,261 COVID-19 New Cases, Warns against Negligence in Applying Precautionary Measures

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has warned people against complacency in applying the precautionary measures, highlighting the importance of compliance with preventive measures such as wearing a face mask, maintaining social distancing, sterilizing hands, and avoiding shaking hands; to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus and to maintain the health and safety of everyone. 

According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,261 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported over the past 24 hours in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 454,217 confirmed cases, including 9,925 active cases and 1,516 critical cases.

In addition, 1,364 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 436,884 recoveries. Also, 15 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,408, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 96,230 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
