 MOH Reiterates Call for Adherence to Precautions during Eid to Stop the Virus

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of compliance with the precautionary measures and preventive protocols during Eid holidays, such as wearing a face mask, avoiding shaking hands, and maintaining social distancing to stop the spread of the virus for the safety of all society members.

According to MOH's latest statistics, 1020 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom in the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 429,389 confirmed cases, including 9,268 active cases and 1,352 critical cases.

In addition, 908 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 413,010 recoveries. Also, 13 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,111, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 71,040 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
