According to Al-Qassim Health Affairs, over the past year, the public and private sector hospitals have performed 22,564,212 lab tests, with 21,763,040 tests at the Affairs’ hospitals and 801,172 at private hospitals. They included different types of medical testing at the blood bank, hematology section, hemoglobin electrophoresis section, cellular audit section, routine chemistry, special chemistry department, hormones section, immunology department, serology department, histocompatibility section, microbiology department, and histology section, and other laboratory tests.
