MOH Observes Spike in COVID-19 Cases, Calls for Adherence to Precautions

The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that the Kingdom still witnesses spike in COVID-19 case, highlighting the importance of adherence to precautionary measures at this stage. Hence MOH has called upon everyone to adhere to such precautionary measures and keep physical distance; to stop the spread of the virus for their health and safety.

According to MOH, 556 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 389,422 confirmed cases, including 5,045 active cases and 694 critical cases.

In addition, 410 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 377,714 recoveries. Also, 7 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 6,663, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 57,262 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
