MOH: 130,000+ Vaccine Doses Administered in One Day
12 March 2021

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that more than 130,000 vaccine doses were administered yesterday, the highest daily rate since the national COVID-19 vaccination program was launched. This reflects the ministry’s preparedness and the massive turnout by citizens and residents to get the vaccine. This comes after inaugurating additional vaccination centers, bringing the total numbers to more than 500 centers across the Kingdom. These centers, which are equipped and supported with all the basic requirements, are witnessing a great turnout from the members of the community to get inoculated amid regulatory and precautionary measures to maintain their health and safety. The ministry said that most of the vaccination appointments during the next 14 days are booked at a very high rate, of up to 80 percent, due to the easy booking procedures via “Sehaty” app.

MOH has called upon everyone to quickly register via «Sehaty» App. and get the COVID-19 vaccine through vaccination centers disseminated across the Kingdom, underlining that the vaccines approved in the Kingdom are effective and safe. It reiterated that all concerned parties, particularly the private sector, provide free vaccines as part of their contribution in implementing the national program, and all centers are available on “Sehaty” app to enable citizens and residents to easily find the nearby centers and book appointments at times convenient to them.
