The Health Minister and Chairman of the Health Endowment Fund, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah has signed today a community partnership agreement with Magrabi Hospitals and Centers to conduct 400 cataract surgeries. The agreement comes as a part of the Ministry of Health's (MOH) endeavors to enhance the contribution of the private sector in health development and to enable it to join the public sector in providing high-quality health services in accordance with the actual needs of citizens and in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030.
The agreement aims to reduce waiting times for surgical operations at MOH's hospitals by conducting 400 cataract surgeries at Magrabi Hospitals and Centers. The 400 surgeries that will be conducted under this agreement include 100 surgeries in Riyadh, 85 in Jeddah, 40 in Dammam, 30 in Makkah, 30 in Madinah, 30 in Jazan, 30 in Asir, 25 in Al-Ahsa, 20 in Qassim, and 10 surgeries in Khobar.
It is noteworthy that the Health Endowment Fund is an entity that aims to enhance the public health of the community by providing sustainable and effective solutions.
