The Ministry of Health (MOH) is pleased to announce that voting for participations in Health Awareness «Wa3i» Award has kicked off yesterday (Monday), and will last for seven days, from August 31st, to September 6th, 2020. The phase of receiving participations in the Award’s five categories (short films, commercial photography, infographic, and motion graphics), in addition to a new category (best health initiative) has recently been completed. Also, the Award voting phase will start soon, and the date will be determined later. Then, the Award winners will be announced.
It is worth mentioning that «Wa3i» Award, which is one of MOH’s initiatives, aims at motivating the community to adopt a healthy lifestyle for boosting prevention, reducing disease incidence, and enhancing activity and professional productivity. It also aims at raising health awareness of the community members, investing youth capabilities, and boosting partnership between the community and all those interested in health awareness across the Kingdom and GCC member states, given that the total cash prizes of the Award will be more than one million riyals to over 50 winners.
Furthermore, a community partnership agreement has been signed with the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) to sponsor the Award in its fourth season – 2020; the matter which will open wider horizons and provide an opportunity to the largest number of participants.
