According to Najran Health Affairs, 8,392 patients have benefited from the medication dispensing initiative «Makaffi» at the healthcare centers of King Khaled Hospital as part of its efforts to prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The initiative was launched by the hospital last April in an endeavor to reduce the number of visitors to the hospital’s pharmacies and the time and efforts spent by patients. After receiving and verifying the electronic request, the medication will be dispensed and distributed within 3 days. The procedure is supported with text messages and patient can choose his preferred healthcare center, adds the Affairs.
