According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), the recovery rate of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has exceeded 90%, with 272,911 recoveries, in addition to 24,942 active cases to date.
“The proactive steps, precautionary measures, health protocols that have been applied by authorities, in addition to the supportive health services offered by the prudent leadership had a tangible impact in preserving the health and safety of citizens and citizens, as well as professionally dealing with this pandemic to prevent its spread,” stated MOH.
MOH added: “According to an international assessment, the Kingdom has been ranked among the 20 safest countries on the planet for COVID-19. MOH has recently increased ICU beds at various hospitals throughout the Kingdom; with a view to providing the highest degree of protection and safety to citizens and residents. This step comes in continuation of applying the highest prevention standards and taking proactive precautionary measures to control COVID-19. Also, this comes as part of MOH’s efforts to upgrade the standards of health services in the region, in such a manner that meets the health needs of citizens and residents; thus achieving such rate of recovery.”
