According to Jazan Health Affairs, over the past year (2019), Samtah General Hospital has served more than 360,000 patients, with 178,892 emergencies and 181,518 outpatients.
Also, the hospital performed 636,889 lab tests (chemistry and hematology tests), 60,945 radiology examinations, 25,630 rehabilitation sessions, 229,678 medical prescriptions, 2,060 home medical visits, 3,133 blood donors, 3,124 pre-marital screenings and 9,622 cases at dental clinics.
"During the same period, the hospital also performed 2,750 births, 1,504 surgeries (major, minor, and one-day surgeries), 9,028 dialysis sessions, as well as 3,528 inpatients," adds the Affairs.
