Over 22,000 Surgeries Performed by Jazan Hospitals in 3 Months

​According to Jazan Health Affairs, over the third quarter of this year (2019), Jazan hospitals performed 22,537 surgeries, with 5,237 general, 186 vascular, 92 cardiothoracic, 516 urologic, 394  burn and plastic, 3,732 orthopedic spine, 1,089 ENT, 345 oral and maxillofacial, 226 pediatric, 3,984 obstetric and gynecologic, 1,193 eye, 197 neurosurgery, in addition to 659 other surgeries.


“Such hospitals, also, performed 4,687 one-day surgeries, with the largest number (totaling 12,87 surgeries) at King Fahd Central Hospital, followed by 1,285 surgeries at Prince Mohammed bin Nasser Hospital, then 619 at Samtah General Hospital, and 558 at Abu Arish General Hospital, in addition to 281 surgeries at Beesh General Hospital” stated the Affairs.
