The Ministry of Health (MOH), through the innovation offices, seeks to improve the quality of health services and to provide excellent service to patients by means of creating new and applicable opportunities with clear methodology, identifying problems and designing ideas that lead to new innovative solutions.
As part of MOH's efforts and out of its belief in the role of institutional health innovation, formation of an integrated system locally and at the Gulf level and its desire to create innovative solutions to have an effective health sector and to benefit from the expertise of health care providers, MOH has recently held a workshop on health design challenges, at the Holiday Inn Jeddah. The workshop was attended by Director of Primary Healthcare Department of UAE Ministry of Health and Community Protection, Dr. Aisha Mohammed Alsraidi.
It is noteworthy that MOH seeks to create an innovative environment in its facilities, to support employees' ideas and help them to design innovative health products and services that target citizen health in the first place. It also helps in developing ideas, accelerating projects to redesign services, and innovating high-efficiency products to improve health care.
