The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) has accredited Eradah Complex for Mental Health- Jeddah, as a training center for addiction medicine fellowship program.
According to Jeddah Health Affairs, applicants for the program should have Saudi fellowship or equivalent certificate in general psychiatry. The program aims to train physicians on the basics and skills for treatment of all types of addiction in a specialized center and under the supervision of an elite of consultant psychiatry and addiction medicine, said the Affairs, adding that the 2-year program (theoretical and practical) is expected to be launched at the complex, on January 1st, 2020.
