The Ministry of Health (MOH) has recently launched a workshop entitled (Cybersecurity for Senior Officials and Users) in Jeddah, with the aim of boosting protection of online information against tampering, vandalism, alteration, or any other threats. The workshop reviewed the necessary methods to protect data against internal and external threats. MOH confirmed its keenness to enhance the concept of cybersecurity and to highlight the danger of non-compliance with its regulations.
It underlined the importance of organizing such workshops on a continuous basis to follow-up implementation and commitment to regulations of the National Cybersecurity Authority by MOH's affiliates and counterparts. Also, the workshop discussed a number of topics, most notably: the general concept of cybersecurity, the National Cyber Security's regulations, and ways and mechanisms of communication between relevant bodies and presentation of ideas and inquiries.
