The Ministry of Health (MOH) has celebrated Tuesday, September 17th, 2019, the graduation of the fourth batch of the Infection Control Diploma Program, totaling 68 graduates. The programs aims to improve quality of health services by increasing infection control and prevention measures. This can be achieved through highly qualified and well-trained staff in all aspects related to infection control to ensure provision of safe health services.
It is noteworthy that MOH has organized the program in cooperation with the Saudi Center for Disease Prevention and Control (Weqaya) with the aim of preparing qualified national teams in infection control, through acquisition of information and skills that qualify them to develop comprehensive and effective programs of infection control in health facilities.
