The Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Archives, Records and Administrative Communications Center, will participate in the First International Conference on Arab Archives, which will be held in Riyadh under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, May Allah protect him, over the period from March 24th to 26th, 2019 (corresponding to Rajab 17th to 19th 1440H.) at InterContinental® Riyadh hotel. The conference is organized by the National Center for Archives and Records (NCAR) under the theme: «The role of Arab Archives in Supporting the Arab knowledge Society between Challenges and Future Aspirations».
Being the Gold Sponsor of the Conference, MOH will introduce in its pavilion MOH’s Story and Development through the presentation of MOH’s documents dated back to 1346H, the era of the late Founder of the Kingdom, King Abdulaziz Al Saud -May Allah rest his soul in peace-, in addition to documentary photographs of MOH’s activities and achievements in 1952.
Besides, the pavilion will feature interactive presentations of «Sahl» System for the automation and control of transactions and administrative communications, as well as highlighting information on MOH’s transactions progress. The pavilion will also present achievements of the Archives, Records and Administrative Communications Center, integration with Royal Court systems, health attachés in the kingdom's embassies, and compliance of «Sahl» System with other E-Systems.
It is worth mentioning that the conference demonstrates a keen interest and large turnout of a number of international and Arab figures, employees of the documentation centers in government agencies, and those interested in the field of documents and electronic archiving; the matter which will positively reflects on the attendees’ interaction and share of expertise.
