The Poison Control Center of Riyadh Health Affairs has obtained the ISO 17025 certification on testing laboratories from the American International Accounting Standards «IAS», an affiliate of ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Corporation). Also, the center is planning to obtain an international quality accreditation during the coming period, Allah willing.
It is noteworthy that the Poison Control General Department seeks to implement external quality programs, as well as ISO's general international standards at the poison control centers across the Kingdom. These international standards prove that the services provided by the poison control centers are efficient and accurate.
