MOH: Participations in the Awareness Award «Wa3i» Will Be Received until February 10th, 2019

​​​​According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), participations in the Awareness Award «Wa3i» in its third season, which has been launched in partnership with Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), will be received until February 10th, 2019. Then, these participations will be judged by specialized technical committees from GCC countries, in addition to auditing the ;medical information and determining the validity and reliability of sources by a specialized medical committee from GCC countries.


Over 50 winners will be awarded cash prizes of more than SR 1,0000,00, and the grand prize will be SR 150.000. Besides, a special award, based on voting of the public, will be granted for the top three winners.

Within the same vein, MOH holds 6 specialized development workshops about the award in 6 major gulf cities by elite of trainers; with a view to developing the skills of professionals and amateurs participating in the award branches.

Also, MOH pointed out that this season’s award allows individuals to participate in one of its different branches: short films, photography, infographics, motion graphics, in addition to another branch allocated this year for schools of GCC member states and Yemen.

It is worth mentioning that the award aims to promote the community’s health awareness, capitalize on youths’ potentials, and boost partnership between the community and all awareness stakeholders in the awareness and visual arts domain. This award reflects MOH’s trend to be the body enhancing prevention and promoting health awareness, as well as increasing the average life expectancy from 74 to 80 years, which is one of MOH’s objectives under Saudi Vision 2030.
