On the occasion of the Kingdom National Day, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has launched today (Tuesday) at its headquarters, a campaign for blood donation for its employees under the theme "We have one blood", in community partnership with Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance and benefits of donating blood, spreading the culture of charitable work and blood donation among citizens and residents alike as well as highlighting its health effects in community and noble humanitarian goal.
Also, the campaign seeks to achieve as many blood units as possible from donors to secure the reserve needs in addition to MOH's blood banks stock in order to meet the additional demand for blood in the event of an increase in emergency and critical cases across the Kingdom.
