Hafr Al-Batin Health Affairs is ready to receive pilgrims arriving through Al-Ruqai Crossing Point (Saudi-Kuwaiti border), which has been enhanced with well-trained administrative, technical and medical staff.
According to the Affairs, the health control center at Al-Ruqai Crossing Point plays a preventive, therapeutic and ambulatory role after being supported with the required manpower and medical supplies (vaccine, preventive medications…etc.) to provide its services 24/7 during Hajj season, in addition to ambulances to transport emergency cases to hospitals.
All health centers in Hafr Al-Batin provide meningitis and seasonal flu vaccines vaccine for pilgrims and government employees working at the access points and holy sites, said the Affairs adding that an integrated health plan is under implementation to improve employee's performance and achieve highest level of health services provided to the guests of Allah from their arrival until departure.
