Al-Ahsa: King Fahad Hospital-Al-Hofuf Obtains CBAHI Accreditation

According to Al-Ahsa Health Affairs, King Fahad Hospital-Al-Hofuf has obtained the accreditation of the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Health Institutions (CBAHI), after meeting the required accreditation standards of quality and safety, and providing the highest quality medical care based on CBAHI standards.

“This accreditation comes as part of the hospital’s series of achievements and accreditations, including that of the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) in 2014, in addition to several specialized accreditations, which reflect the hospital’s compliance with all quality standards that have been assessed in the field through the specialized committees; thus, reflecting the hospital’s advanced level”, added the affairs.


It is noted that King Fahad Hospital-Al-Hofuf (with a 500-bed capacity) is the reference hospital in the region, serving about 40,000 beneficiaries, with 18,000 inpatients, in addition to performing 5,400 surgeries.
