Neurology Department of King Abdullah Medical Complex in the north of Jeddah has obtained the accreditation of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) as a training center, part of the Saudi Certificate of Competence, for a period of one year. The accreditation was recommended by a committee comprising specialists from the SCHS, which visited the complex to inspect the applied standards, work mechanism, activities and training courses for the fellowship of neurology at all levels, in addition to provision of a number of the department's fundamentals for accrediting it as a training center, and the efforts exerted by the management of the Complex for improving the medical services through training programs.
The committee praised the high level of equipment and full cooperation from both supervising doctors and assistant crew. They also praised the training and educational environment provided by the complex, which placed it at the top of neurology training centers, and made it compatible with the required standards for obtaining the accreditation.
